Long Arm Quilting Services
I am honored and happy to help you get your tops turned into beautiful quilts!
Long Arm Quilting Pricing:
I currently offer Edge to Edge quilting on my HQ Amara with Pro Stitcher.
You may look at the tab labeled Quilting Patterns for the designs that are currently offered. If you have an idea of another pattern you would like I would be happy to look into adding it to my patterns
Prices are based on the size of your quilt and complexity of the pattern.
To figure the square inch of your quilt top, measure the width and the length and multiple them together. This will give you the total square inches of your quilt. Then multiply by the price per square inch.
Example: A quilt measured at 60 X 80 = 4800 square inches X .015 (1.5 cents per square inch) = $72.*
There is a minimum charge of $35.
*price does not include batting charges. Batting charges depend on the type and size of batting.
Quilt top:
To assure a quality finished product and minimize your cost, please follow these basic guidelines:
· Your top must be clean and pressed well. Please make sure all seams are pressed flat, threads clipped and removed or they may show through later. Please remove pins or basting threads.
· Make sure the quilt top is pressed and lays flat to prevent puckering.
· Square-up and trim quilt top to its final size—measuring the same amount in 3 places in both directions.
Please mark the top of your quilt so that it is quilted top first J You can simply attach a sticky note with a paper clip or simply put a safety pin in the middle of the top of the quilt.
Quilt Back and Batting:
Quilt Back and Batting must be 8 inches in width and length larger than your quilt top.
This is very important to make sure your top can be quilted in its entirety. The process of attaching the back to the leaders takes up a few inches on both ends. The actual quilting will also be off of the top slightly to ensure the entire top is quilted.
Please mark the top of your back by simply attaching a clip with a sticky note or even a safety pin. This will ensure there is no confusion when it is loaded for quilting!
